My Sophomore Bible Class

This semester I have been given another task here at Maxwell Adventist Academy. On top of being the Assistant Boys Dean and PE teacher, I now teach Sophomore Bible class. Five days a week I prepare for class by making Power Point presentations and preparing supplemental homework assignments. Below you will find a day of class where I had the students working together and giving impromptu presentations.

This is the extent of my classroom.

Gerry, Melissa, Ines, and Charmaine were the first group to present on the lesson.

This group of six worked well together and gave a decent presentation considering I had surprised them with the in-class assignment.

This is where I daily stand and pace while lecturing to the class.

Easy...Medium...Difficult....Evil!

It all started with a pile of papers that were being neglected. I decided to finally go through my "I'll deal with these later" pile of papers from the last two months. "Later" arrived, and I can now see my desk again. But I am left with two pages, double-sided, of Sudoku puzzles. Compliments of Union College Student Missions Office. I have spent literally hours this weekend feebly trying to master these non-mathematical number games from Satan. Just this morning I worked on a single puzzle all the way through Sabbath School and Church before giving up and handing it over to Ricky for him to solve. During that entire time I was able to get one number of that "Evil" puzzle. In other words, Sudoku isn't really my thing.
