Ancient Corinth 2

This is an ancient latrine. How about that? They just sat in a row and it all flowed down the same stone groove.

Behind me lies the main market place in Corinth and the southern end of the famous Lechaion Road ending in the steps that lead up to the forum. Colonnade arcades would have lined both sides of the street.

This is the famous Erastus stone. The 'Erastus' pavement near Corinth's theatre is the only surviving archeological remains that name a Christian believer known to us from the New Testament.

Hangin' out at the Archaic Temple of Apollo.
