Night on the Town - Athens

The other night Anna and I took the tram North towards Athens and ended up at a bar watching the Germany vs. Spain soccer match...unfortunately Germany lost. Then after the game we took the tram back and made one stop at a fancy marina where people park their EXPENSIVE yachts. They had some cool lights, so of course I took pictures. Here they are...

They had these really cool, blue lights in the water that lit up the marina.

It was very fascinating to see all of the night lights in the marina and across the harbor.

These are some beautiful boats.

This place reminded me of some of the city walks we have in the states.

There were lots of people just sitting and walking around late at night. I have noticed that in Greece people stay up much later. There will be several families with their kids included, eating out at restaurants at midnight. Everything stays open really late.

This was near the sports bar where we watched the soccer match.

We even got to watch the game on the big screen...but without sound. :(

Here I am watching the game, drinking my bottled water in a glass. :)

They even served us ice in a glass dish with a little spoon...fancy bar.
