Animals of Lake Naivasha

My first Sabbath here in Kenya the faculty of Maxwell Academy all spent the day at Crescent Island, an island in Lake Naivasha. The island is a privately owned animal sanctuary where you can pay a small fee and walk around among the animals. I saw Girrafe, Zebra, Waterbuck, Hippos, Impala, Wildebeest, Thomson's Gazelle, African Fish Eagles, and many more birds. We had a picnic in the woods and monkeys tried to raid our food. It was quite the experience being able to eat and walk among the animals. They weren't tame by any means, but they were close nevertheless.
